Make over

For you anonymous folks that want to see our house. The new sun room is in the nearest corner.

So far we have 4 rocking chairs in there but I plan to shop for a love seat...and then we'll choose the paint ..Hmm

Interesting observation

Seems like I've heard a tidbit ..."As we live so shall we die"... A school mate of mine is sick unto death as they say. The word is she has two to six months to live.
Years ago when her wedding was scheduled, the word got around that she was wearing a mini skirt and blue pantalons to the ceremony. The church was filled to capacity with uninvited guests including myself. During the solemnness of the vow exchange etc. the silence was broken by the hubbub of the crowd waiting outside the building to see her outfit.
Her activities in life after that were carried on in the same vein. She passed the trait on to her kids...living out of the box maybe is how it's put.
It's eerie so see that now that with cancer is creeping in on her, the same thing is happening as on the day of her wedding. Two weeks ago the news spread around the area that she had died. Not so. Yesterday I heard once more that she had died. Not so. This is going to be a big deal to people.

Truth or a lie

You know how to play the game....The music was playing and I kept my eyes on a man hoping I'd have a chance to waltz with him. He was just the right height for me and looked real sharp in a black shirt and black pants. I knew we'd circle the floor gracefully cause our paths had crossed in another time at the same place. Truth or Lie??






Truth ...I was at a Square Dance Reunion and the man was 90 years old ..mmm

Biorhythm

Is that spelled right...I'll test the system..biorhythm. I set up this painting nook in the corner of my bedroom so no one would disturb me or look over my shoulder. Kinna crowded but the only door I can really shut in the house.Masterpiece will soon be revealed :) Then I think I'll put my water colors away again. Wonder what I'll do next?

A First

Some note I read this week suggested that Seniors should be cultivating the idea of doing things for the first time instead of maybe look at them being the "last time".I'm not in that catagory yet but I did have a chance to do the walking trail at the arena. I had taken M. to ball hockey and was to wait while he played. I was the only one tramping around and then I noticed another couple had joined me. It seemed the guy might have been encourging his girl friend. as them plodded on ahead of me. This is the sad part...she was walking in high heeled sandals.Ugh !

Just a little peek at the kittens so you can put your order in for one. This guy has 7 toes on his front feet so his price will be a little higher.

Well, my goal was to get away from painting marsh scenes. Tonight was an experience. After wetting the paper we dropped on color (green for me)...then another color...Yellow. Then we were supposed to work up some detail after we decided what our picture was. Hmmm.What started out as yellow buttercups began to look like an Indian campsite to me. Linda T. was behind me and she thought it looked like a playground...so there you have it.

Gone fishin'

I'm very careful not to throw cold water on their hopes......something good might come along to that pink paper clip. They do have one skinny worm among the 3 of them.
