This picture is from Google. Last night we played cards with Carson and Bonnie. He did buy 2 horses when he retired so that he would have something to get out of bed for in the mornings. During bad weather he's concerned about them being out in the elements.There is a shelter with a metal roof where they can be protected in their pasture. As a storm approached he watched from afar to see that they would do. At the first hint of lightning...both horses came out from under that shelter and stood together in the middle of the open field until the storm passed.Awesome! However his next story confused me about their intelligence. If they have access to an unrestricted supply of oats, and then drink water, their bellies swell up and they die. Hmm
